I’m Tony Francis — a long-time Ward 1 resident running for Breckenridge Hills City Council. This campaign is about practical, visible improvements: safer streets, stronger local businesses, and a community corner we can finally be proud of.
The abandoned site has been a visible problem for years. Step one is a clear plan for demolition and cleanup — done responsibly and transparently.
Visible progressA modest green space that fits the actual lot: seating, shade trees, walking-friendly edges, and community use that complements nearby businesses.
Right-sized for Ward 1Pursue grants, partnerships, and practical budgeting before leaning on taxpayers. The goal is to deliver improvement without empty promises.
Responsible financesI've been a proud citizen of Breckenridge for 18 years, but I've seen many obvious problems sit unattended for far too long. I think it's time we started addressing them. Our town is great in many ways, but there are issues that need to be addressed if we are to reach our true potential. I want to help our local business community grow and keep blights like 2929 Woodson from spreading however I can.
This is a local race. I’m focused on our streets, our businesses, and our quality of life, not national politics. I lean Democratic but practical matters that address real needs will always matter more than the chaos in the headlines. I'm wholly committed to the needs of Breckenridge Hills and will do whatever is necessary to see us grow.
